ViaSun Corporation is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Traffic Control Manager to lead our traffic management efforts on construction projects. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive traffic control plans to ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and safely.
  • Coordinate with administrators to manage office functions, including invoices, timecard tracking, and customer service.
  • Supervise and support designers in creating traffic control plans that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supervisor(s) and traffic control technicians to ensure on-site activities comply with safety and project standards.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and address any issues.
  • Managing client relationships (NPS) to understand project requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure accountability within the team for timely deployment and retrieval of traffic control equipment.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal traffic safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and oversee training sessions for staff.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure profitability.
  • Manage price rates for services and equipment to remain competitive and profitable.
  • Oversee budget management, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards for all traffic control devices and operations.
  • Manage team productivity and employee satisfaction.
  • Manage financial performance and profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic control management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of traffic control regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in coordinating with local authorities and project teams.
  • Certification in traffic control (e.g., ATSSA) is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems effectively.
  • Valid driver's license.
