Job Description

To oversee the Sales and Conference Services departments and staff to generate and maximize revenues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This position aims to contribute significantly to guest satisfaction and loyalty, team member satisfaction and commitment, overall operations, financial performance, and uphold the cultural core. The role requires being an agent of change, demonstrating flexible leadership styles, working collaboratively, and adhering to managerial standards. Average % of Time Conceive, plan, direct, control, implement, and maintain strategies and action plans to generate and maximize revenues through marketing, sales, the hotel's direct website, promotions, advertising, and public relations, positively impacting all hotel departments. Guide, develop, and support sales staff to boost productivity. Develop and implement creative packages to fill identified need periods across markets. Set quarterly sales goals and targets. Develop annual marketing and business plans. Oversee and manage the Sales team. Set goals for managers and assist in closing business. Review contracts for accuracy. Collaborate with the yield team to set rates weekly, monthly, and daily. Identify need periods and create action plans to address them. Ensure group rooms meet food and beverage minimums. Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting processes. Communicate effectively with all departments. Motivate staff to achieve hotel and departmental goals. Respond promptly to guest requests. Control and minimize sales and marketing expenses while exceeding budgeted revenues and occupancy. Ensure administrative procedures are in place and effective. Complete all required reports timely.
