Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the origination and execution of investment banking transaction mandates for private equity and corporate clients across various sectors, including buy-side and sell-side M&A, cross-border transactions, and capital markets processes such as debt and equity offerings.
  • Prepare materials for clients and participate in client meetings during deal origination and execution.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships within the private equity sector.
  • Generate new ideas and opportunities for clients across sectors.
  • Oversee analysts and associates involved in client coverage and transaction execution.
  • Draft and negotiate engagement letters, confidentiality agreements, and related documents.
  • Lead client meetings with prospective buyers in sell-side M&A processes, including management presentations.
  • Manage internal transaction and capital committee processes.
  • Contribute to business vision and strategy based on commercial priorities.
  • Identify and evaluate investment, divestment, merger, and financing opportunities, conducting market research and engaging with industry bankers and clients.
  • Assess and mitigate risks related to investment opportunities, including geopolitical, environmental, and currency risks.
  • Conduct comprehensive industry and company analyses, including LBO, DCF, valuation, and comparable analyses.
  • Lead due diligence processes across sectors and transaction types.
  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 8 years of progressively responsible experience in finance or related roles, including specific experience in investment analysis, risk assessment, and transaction leadership.
  • Experience in assessing investment opportunities, conducting market research, and engaging with industry professionals globally.
  • Experience in risk mitigation related to geopolitical, environmental, and currency factors.
  • Proficiency in industry and company-specific financial analyses.
  • Leading due diligence for investment banking transactions across sectors.
  • 3 years of academic study towards a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience can substitute for the degree.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
