About Role  

 

As a Technical Product Owner at TRAX Analytics, LLC, you will be at the forefront of innovation, shaping the future of IoT and cloud-based solutions in the facility management industry. You'll play a pivotal role in our cutting-edge cloud-native SaaS product development team, translating complex business needs into compelling product features for some of the largest facility management companies in the country. 

In this dynamic position, you'll leverage your expertise to bridge the gap between stakeholders, development teams, and end-users, ensuring our products not only meet but exceed market expectations. You'll be collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, manage product features, and drive the feature vision from conception to delivery. Responsibilities  

  • Transform product vision into actionable product deliverables and features 
  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements, obtain feature feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction 
  • Collaborate with the business team in refining and clarifying product requirements and aligning them with business goals 
  • Lead collaborative ideation sessions to analyze feature possibilities and determine optimal solutions aligned with product goals 
  • Partner with Business Analysts to develop and maintain comprehensive Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) 
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to refine product backlog, documenting user story details and acceptance criteria 
  • Interact regularly with the development team to clarify business requirements and provide guidance on implementation 
  • Maintain product cohesion and consistency across all features and releases 
  • Create mock-ups and wireframes where necessary to illustrate feature concepts 
  • Incorporate user feedback and research insights to optimize feature development and product-market fit 
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives 
  • Attend daily standups and other development meetings as required 
  • Develop internal technical feature documentation 
  • Develop comprehensive expertise in product functionality, architecture, and technical capabilities to drive informed decision-making 
  • Continuously assess and communicate product progress to stakeholders 

 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or relevant experience 
  • 2+ years of experience as a junior or mid-level Product Owner or in a similar role within a SaaS software development team 
  • Knowledge of SQL 
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate product features to technical audiences 
  • Ability to communicate decisions and trade-offs based on business value 
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) 
  • Familiarity with product design and UX principles 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Work on-site 3-4 days per week. 
  • Experience in Janitorial, Facility Management or Airport Management industry is a large plus. 
  • Hand-on software development background is a plus
