Doggie Style Pets is hiring a Store Support Manager for our Bala Cynwyd & Chestnut Hill locations.The Store Support manager oversees two locations. They ensure operational excellence, maintain store standards, and support and manage store staff. All employees at Doggie Style Pets are expected to give excellent customer service.The store support manager’s regular schedule will be Tuesdays through Saturdays. You will spend Tuesdays in our home office at 315 Market St. Philadelphia, PA and the rest of the week in their assigned stores. Candidates are required to travel within the city of Philadelphia regularly.RESPONSIBILITIES:General Store Management Responsibilities including staff management, development and training. Manage the customer experience in our retail locaitons and ensure the best in class customer service and experience for our customers.Daily managment tasks may include:Creating a schedule for customer service staff in two locationsTraining newly hired customer service staffMaintaining inventoryChecking transactions and controls to ensure accurate processingMaintaining store standards including dress code, and store appearanceKeep current on all products and services offered by the companyManage our grooming business, services and schedules at each locationComplete weekly store checklist and review with senior managementManagers are responsible to create a positive, fast-paced and productive workplace. Candidate must possess good technical and communications skillsQUALIFICATIONS:Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlinesMust have strong organizational and management skills, as well as attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skillsThe ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same timeHave the ability to have conversations about performance and willing to correct performance issuesCustomer service focus and experienceStaff management and development experienceKnowledge and experience with pets is a plus.
