As a Sales Design Consultants you'll assist clients with selecting high-end European furniture pieces that complement their existing spaces while providing expert design guidance to create cohesive, aesthetically pleasing environments. This role offers an inspiring blend of high-end sales and interior design expertise, allowing you to collaborate with exclusive design houses while building a rewarding career in the luxury home furnishings industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail clients and trade professionals with their design needs
• Sell products and services to clients who visit the showroom or call for information
• Follow up on all opportunities on a routine basis
• Provide clients with comprehensive product information and design consultation
• Maintain professional courtesy with associates and clients at all times
• Monitor all open orders from placement to delivery
• Provide exceptional professional customer service
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all vendor products, pricing, options, finishes, and details
• Stay up-to-date on all product pricing
• Participate in showroom events, product trainings, and industry functions
• Maintain the showroom's aesthetic appeal and product displays
• Collaborate with the marketing team on social media content featuring products
• Occasional travel to manufacturer facilities, design shows, and client sites

Qualifications

• Three plus years of showroom or retail experience preferred
• Proven success with driving sales goals and growing your business
• Luxury furniture sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with design software and CRM systems preferred
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of European design trends and brands
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Passport and ability to travel internationally for trade shows, factory visits, and training
• Comfort with occasional international travel to Europe for product knowledge and vendor relationship development
