Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Team Leader to join their team. As a Production Team Leader, you will be part of the operations department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Team Leader

Location: Columbus, IN

Pay Range: $30.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, plus overtime as needed)

What's the Job?

• Monitor and address safety hazards, environmental concerns, and material waste in production processes.
• Ensure all production personnel are properly trained to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
• Supervise unit personnel in alignment with company mission and quality objectives.
• Respond promptly to safety, quality, mechanical, and personnel concerns.
• Lead by example in professionalism and adherence to company policies.

What's Needed?

• Four-year college or university program certificate with a manufacturing or business focus; and/or 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
