Role

Physicians act as Expert Medical Advisors (EMAs) to:

• Resolve disputes related to reimbursement, healthcare services, and physician treatment.
• Provide expert medical opinions, peer reviews, and testimony to Judges of Compensation Claims.
• Address disagreements between independent medical examiners or other healthcare providers.

Key Requirements:

• Licensure:  Must be licensed in Florida (active, with no history of major disciplinary or legal actions).
• Direct Patient Care:  Must be actively engaged in providing direct patient care.
• Board-Certified:  Must have been board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery for at least 5 years .
• Work Arrangement:  This is a 1099 (at-will) role for both parties.
