JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary A luxury jewelry company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Jeweler to join their team. This role requires exceptional bench skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver superior craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will manage jewelry repairs, create custom designs, and oversee the daily operations of the jewelry service department. Reporting to the existing Goldsmith, this position will work in a collaborative and supportive environment, playing a key role in maintaining the company's reputation for exquisite craftsmanship and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Perform expert-level bench work, including repairs, stone setting, casting, hand fabrication, polishing, and finishing, on high-end jewelry pieces. Work with precious metals, rare gemstones, and intricate designs, ensuring every piece meets luxury market standards. Operate and maintain jewelry tools and equipment, including laser welders, while managing inventory for tools and materials. Handle customer service-related tasks, including estimates, service communication, and follow-up, ensuring a seamless client experience. Manage multiple tasks and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced, luxury-focused environment. Contribute to a team-oriented culture, prioritizing collaboration and shared success. Required Skills and Competencies Technical Expertise: Mastery of advanced bench techniques, with the ability to handle delicate and intricate pieces with precision. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Over 5 years of experience as a Master Jeweler, including at least 5 years in a luxury jewelry setting. In-depth knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and fine craftsmanship, with the ability to handle high-value materials and intricate designs. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Formal training or certification from an accredited jeweler program, such as those offered by GIA or other recognized institutions, is a plus. WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT Location: Onsite in Jackson, WY Relocation Assistance: Provided for qualified candidates. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday. Core hours: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
