Global Markets Marketing Manager, Officer

Part of the marketing team, the Marketing Manager will provide ongoing marketing support driving performance focused marketing for priority campaigns, with the goal of generating demand and fueling the growth of our products and solutions globally.

This role works to not only strengthen our brand, build awareness, and drive sales opportunities globally, but also must develop a marketing strategy focused on arming our client-facing teams with the tools and information they need to position State Street as a leader in the industry.

As a successful candidate for this full-time role, you will help deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that engage target audiences in our key markets (US, UK/EMEA and APAC), and aimed at raising brand awareness and generating demand for State Streets capabilities. Delivering on effective digital and performance marketing strategies for each campaign with the intent to capture high quality marketing qualified leads is strategic to the role.

You are an organized, proactive team player; we are looking for you to bring positivity and continuous support to those around you. Working across multiple divisions, your ability to collaborate, foster relationships and bring solutions to the table are essential assets. This role would suit someone who has B2B marketing experience, but it is not essential to have knowledge of financial services or products.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Work closely with campaign leads, marketing channels (such as digital services, customer insights and analytics etc.) and our digital media agency to develop strategies for our flagship campaigns, including, but not limited to, search engine marketing, paid social media promotions, other paid media and partnerships (such as Savvy Investor)..
  • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget by working closely with partner agencies and internal colleagues to implement, optimize and report on performance
  • Measure effectiveness and ROI of marketing activity and optimize campaigns based on target engagement with a goal of identifying and scaling best practices
  • Partner closely with content, digital and design teams to ensure the campaigns deliver a consistent voice in a highly effective, engaging, and responsive manner across our target audiences
  • Draft budget proposals, accruals and recommend changes where necessary
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships with the coverage and regional teams, where necessary to the success of the campaign / project

  • Experience with Salesforce, intermediate excel queries and pivot tables (not essential, but a plus)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years relevant marketing and communications experience, preferably in a B2B and/or financial services organization
  • Excellence in verbal and written communications and knowledge of communications best practices
  • Experience managing marketing projects: online campaigns, in-person and virtual events, brand/advertising, editorial, partnerships/sponsorships
  • The role will have a strong connection into our social media team, so a good understanding of B2B social media best practice and optimization is advantageous
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interface with colleagues from a variety of locations and time zones, to produce content that is interesting and relevant
  • Working in matrix structures and cross-cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own, as part of a team and globally
  • Ensuring that the highest level of integrity and ethical behavior is continuously adhered to
  • Flexible hours may be required to manage projects across regions / time zones

Salary Range

$65,000 - $102,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
