For Attorneys coming in with 2 or more years of direct Family Law experience, we are offering a starting salary of $140,000 . Starting January 1, 2025, the firm will offer no-cost health insurance for basic plans, free dental and vision coverage, and a 6% matching contribution for 401(k) plans at 100%. After eighteen (18) months of full-time employment, attorneys will earn over six (6) weeks of paid time off. Partnership opportunities are available for experienced practitioners in new and existing practice groups. About the Role : As a Family Law attorney at Tully Rinckey, you will be responsible for providing quality legal advice, representing clients in disputes, and managing a wide range of Family and Matrimonial matters. The ideal candidate will have an interest or direct experience in representing individuals in Family or Matrimonial based claims. Compensation is based on practice related experience. Admission to the New York State Bar is required for this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal representation to clients in child-custody, child-support, child-abuse, contested divorce, uncontested divorce, and other Family and Matrimonial related cases.
  • Drafting pleadings, including motions, discovery requests and responses, and other substantive filings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to prepare for litigation and arbitration.
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, conference, depositions, administrative hearings, and court proceedings.
  • Develop strategies to minimize risk and efficiently resolve disputes.
  • Stay updated with changes in Family and Matrimonial Law and advise clients accordingly.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • License to practice law in New York State, with good standing, is required.
  • 2+ years of direct experience in Family Law matters.
  • Interest or direct experience in representing individuals in Family Law related claims.
  • Understanding of state Family law statues, codes, and regulations.
  • Litigation, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Pay range for Attorneys with 2+ years of direct Family Law experience : $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year (2 years of experience minimum is required.)
