Job Description Maintain and repair facility equipment to include electrical wiring, HVAC, plumbing, security system, etc. Facility maintenance, both internally and externally, to include walls, floors, ceilings, walkways and grounds. Plans and coordinates office and equipment relocation. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints. Coordinates and monitor work with outside contractors. Record all Maintenance in Computerized Maintenance Management System. Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and in line with OSHA requirements. Ensure Environmental, Health, & Safety guidelines are followed. Maintain safe, clean and efficient work and storage areas during the execution of maintenance work. Other duties as they are assigned. Position is on 1st shift and some overtime is required. Qualifications Knowledge of building wiring and electrical codes including 480 volt/ 3 phase power. Solid mechanical aptitude, familiar carpentry/masonry construction techniques. Able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Ability to use manual and power hand tools. Good verbal and written communication skills including email, interpersonal, and computer. Willing to learn continuously. Ability to bend, lift, squat, and handle up to 40 lbs on a regular basis. Continuous walking and standing for up to 8 hours. Occasionally working in cramped spaces. Ability to read and write English. Ability to work alone or as part of a team. Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division of fractions and decimals. Ability to discriminate colors. Good troubleshooting skills. Valid driver's license is required. At least 8 years experience in a facility maintenance is required. An Associates degree is preferred with at least 5 years experience.
