Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Part-Time) – Cole County, Jefferson City, MO \n\n

TK Health Clinics | Correctional Healthcare | 10 hours/week

\n\n\n Position Overview: \n\n

We’re looking for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in Cole County, Missouri . In this role, you’ll assess, treat, and support inmates experiencing mental health issues while helping coordinate a continuum of care post-release.

\n\n\n Key Responsibilities: \n\n

  Perform mental health assessments and suicide risk evaluations

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Develop and implement individualized treatment and release plans

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Provide MAT and substance abuse counseling

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Collaborate with medical and facility staff to ensure continuity of care

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Coordinate with community agencies for discharge planning

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Provide mental health training to facility staff as needed

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Participate in on-call rotation (as needed)

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Maintain safety and security during clinical interventions

  \n\t
\n

\n\n\n Qualifications: \n\n

\n\t
• \n\t

  Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, or a related field

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Current license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent in Missouri

  \n\t
\n\t
• \n\t

  Correctional or crisis mental health experience preferred, but not required

  \n\t
\n
