CNC Machine Operator – Up to $25 an hour

What will you be doing?

• Program equipment, including setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements
• Maintain product specifications by observing cutting, beveling, drilling, and troubleshooting processes that require adjustments
• Analyse blue prints and specification to verify layout and required operations
• Uploading CNC files to machines
• Finish and package materials 
• Obtaining certifications in forklift and overhead crane operation 

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude
• LEAN manufacturing knowledge and/or the ability to obtain 5-s certification within 6 months of employment 
• Knowledge of oxy fuel and plasma cutting
• Understanding of basic drill/saw feed rates and speeds
• Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution 
• Basic math skills
• Comfort in using electronic devices to complete work such as tablets 
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role including standing for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds safely, and other physical requirements outlined in full job description
