Receptionist

Location: New York, NY

Rate: $20 - $23/hr depending on experience

Duration: 6+ months, strong potential for extension & full time conversion

Overview:

The Client Center Receptionist is responsible for delivering a seamless and professional experience for all visitors and guests. This role manages the day-to-day operations of the client conference center, including room reservations, visitor reception, and overall client experience.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee scheduling and coordination of conference room reservations to ensure efficient use of space and resources.
• Greet and assist visitors with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Handle incoming calls and emails, providing accurate information and routing inquiries appropriately.
• Manage catering orders and support event logistics within the client center.
• Perform general administrative duties such as message-taking, mail sorting, and handling overnight packages.
• Support other administrative staff with overflow tasks including word processing, data entry, and internet research.
• Maintain a polished and service-oriented presence at all times.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience (prior receptionist, executive assistant, or hospitality industry, or similar)
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills
• Organizational skills as they will be the room coordinator
• Calm demeanor under pressure
• Team player, proactive individual
• Ambassador of Santander as first line point of contact for guests
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
