About the Role

MRIoA is a national Independent Review Organization that facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness.

Opportunity Details

Requires Minnesota State Medical License.
Review prior authorizations for treatment by applying nationally accepted medical and healthcare plan guidelines.
Provide expert, unbiased assessments while ensuring compliance with ERISA/DOL and state regulations.
Flexible hours work as little as 1-2 hours per week; most cases take 30-60 minutes.

Additional Information

Remote work from anywhere in the US (patient records cannot leave the US per HIPAA regulations).
Covered under MRIoAs Errors and Omissions policy.
Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

Minimum Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
At least 5 years of patient care experience in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Unrestricted Minnesota medical license.
US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Work Environment

Remote, with the ability to sit at a desk, utilize a PC, telephone, and basic office equipment.
