We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA to join our Residential Group Home team at our Wilmington, Delaware location. Some duties would include the following:

• To provide direct care and supervision to participants in the residential group home setting.
• To ensure a safe, healthy, secure and recovery-oriented environment, which promotes growth and development.
• To facilitate participant growth and development toward independence in self-care, daily living, socialization and community integration.
• To participate in the development and implementation of the participants’ recovery plans.

Hiring for work schedules
Full time 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 3P-11P

Part time 16 hours Sat-Sun 7A-3P; Sat-Sun 3P-11P

Hire requirements include new hire orientation first five (5) day workweek Mon-Fri at our Philadelphia location, no parking concerns, mileage reimbursement and dayshift schedule.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required with current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA in the state of Delaware.
• Ability to respond to disruptive behavior.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Knowledge and ability to provide hands on assistance with activities of daily living.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with and acceptable driving record.

Scope:

• A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in a residential group home.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, fold, bend, kneel, stack, stoop, which includes direct intervention with participants.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs.
• Possess manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Requires crisis intervention techniques in crisis situations.
